When he was talking regarding Bitcoin in front of his family, Google CEO Sundar Pichai was stunned to have his 11 year old son pipe up to mention that what he really means is Ethereum, “which is slightly different.”

The boy used the chance to disclose to his father that he's mining ether on their home computer - one that Pichai designed himself, he said at the new york Times DealBook conference last week.

With the sudden rise in technology over the past 3 decades, many folks belonging to younger generations have found themselves having to elucidate easy ideas like social media or simply using the computer to their parents and grandparents. However, it's probably safe to mention that teaching your parent who could be a CEO of a tech giant could be a terribly rare incidence - which Pichai’s son saw a one-in-a-million chance and took it.

Meanwhile, as per a Business insider, Pichai said he did have to explain to his crypto-minded son the nation’s financial system “and however paper currency really works.” He adds, “I realised he understood Ethereum higher than however paper currency works. I had to speak to him regarding the industry, the importance of it. it had been an honest conversation.”

The youngest generation is commonly beyond their parents in terms of recent technology, it seems. Google co-founder Sergey Brin, currently president of Google’s parent company Alphabet, went through one thing similar together with his own son. “A year or 2 ago my son insisted that we needed to induce a gaming computer. I told him if we get a gaming computer we've got to mine cryptocurrency. thus we got an Ethereum miner on there and we’ve been creating some pennies and dollars since,” he said at a Morocco blockchain conference in July, adding, “That undoubtedly got me interested and i began to study the technology behind it and found it to be fascinating.”

Also, a German teenager made his fortune trading Bitcoin. He said he believes that you will still become a millionaire, adding, “I say if you do not become a millionaire within the next ten years, then it’s your own fault.” Thanks, kid. Here’s to learning from new generations.
