Hamburg, June 12, 2019 - The international Blockchain conference BLOCKCHANCE 2019 presents the first highlights from a total of 16 panels on the technological, scientific, economic and social topics of decentralised database technology. The two-day future event will be opened by Peter Tschentscher, patron and first mayor of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.

Under the title "The Future of Society" Marc Buckley, Consultant of the United Nations and Spokesman of the World Economic Forum and Tom Lyons, Executive Director of the New York-based Ethereum parent company ConsensSys as well as Dr. Julie Maupin, Director of Social Impact of the IOTA Foundation and Chairman of the Board of the global Blockchain interest group INATBA and lawyer Dr. Lukas Repa, Senior Policy Officer of the European Comission will speak

In the panel "The Future of Science" are Prof. Philipp Sandner, head of the Frankfurt School Blockchain Center, Prof. Volker Skwarek, head of the Blockchain Research Group at HAW Hamburg and Lennart Ante, founder of the Blockchain Research Lab at the University of Hamburg. "The Future of IT" is under the direction of c't editor-in-chief Jürgen Riek and will be discussed with Christian Schultze-Wolters, Director for Blockchain Solutions at IBM and Moritz Stump, CEO of the Hamburg service provider Blockchain Solutions and member of the board of the Hanseatic Blockchain Institute.

"The Future of Economics" will be presented by Angel Versetti, co-founder and CEO of Supply Chain specialist Amrosus from Belize. The innovation and technology expert is a speaker at the World Food Programme UNESCO, the World Climate Summit COP21, the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Vatican and the European Parliament. Another international speaker is Svetlana Boyanova, Executive Director of the Institute of Agricultural Strategies and Innovation and former Bulgarian Minister of Agriculture.

In addition, renowned experts discuss the topic "The Future of Finance", including Prof. Dr. Dr. Stefan Brunnhuber, Senator at the European Academy for Science and Art, trustee at the World Academy for Science and Art and member of the the Club of Rome, Massimo Buonomo, international Blockchain expert at the United Nations, Alexander Hoeptner, Executive Director of the Stuttgart Stock Exchange and Christoph Lymberski, co-founder and Executive Director of BlockRock Ventures, Germany's first start-up fund and accelerator program for Blockchain solutions from Hamburg.
