Blockchain Summit India 2019 is the first edition in series of Vision Blockchain 2030. Indian Government, various ministries, country's premium academic institutes, and the country's most influential people are participating to support the initiative.

Indian Blockchain Summit 2019 will be held on 22-23 February at the IIM Lucknow, Noida Campus. Dignitaries from the Indian Government and higher executives from MNCs to speak and attend the event. They will shape the Blockchain Vision 2030.

Blockchain Summit India 2019 is focused towards enabling Indian Ministries & Government fasten up the method of developing a flourished Blockchain and Cryptocurrency system.

Global Blockchain Companies and Government bodies are joining to make India, a Blockchain capital.

The Indian Government has always been apprehensive of the scams related to cryptocurrency. There have been quite a few over the past couple of years that have come to light. The Central Indian bank finally put a halt to all banking transactions to support cryptocurrency exchange on and after July 2017. The matter is sub judicious and resting with the Apex Court of India.

The Summit will begin with a keynote from Minister of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, Mr Suresh Prabhu, Minister of Science and Technology in India, Dr Harsh Vardhan, will deliver a critical speech on the role of Indian Universities in the development of a Blockchain ecosystem.

Some of the other esteemed speakers who will share their insight about the future of blockchain and cryptocurrency include Mr Alok Sinha, Secretary, IT Department, Yukti Arora, Director, Deloitte, Sreeram Ananthasayanam, Partner at PwC, executives from Reliance India, Google, Qualcomm and Axis Bank will also speak at the event.

The highlight of the event will include the launch of the Auxledger Public Network built by the Auxesis Team in collaboration with the Indian Government. The Public Ledger will serve a variety of departments and institutions under the Indian Government. The network aims to induce a higher level of transparency in data, recordkeeping and transactions of the Indian Government.

The Blockchain implementation will save the Government a considerable amount of value in operation cost and also streamline many developmental processes in the Health, Transport, Identity Protection, Voting, and National Recordkeeping.
